Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for The LEGO Batman Movie. The film is a spin-off of the celebrated The LEGO MovieChristopher Miller and Phil Lord remain on board as producers on this film, while co-director Chris McKay takes the reins as director. Will Arnett as the voice of the Gotham vigilante in the irreverent spin on the classic comic book character.

The LEGO Batman Movie looks like it will be the tonic to the Batman of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and The Killing Joke. The film actually calls out Batman on his anti-social behavior, and makes him look ridiculous because of it. The trailer then really shows what director Chris McKay meant when he said that The LEGO Batman Movie is “About a Boy as directed by Michael Mann.” The material between Batman and Robin (Michael Cera) is top-notch, and I can’t wait to see a whole movie of these two bouncing off each other.

Now that we’ve seen the Batman/Robin dynamic, I look forward to getting more from the villains, especially Galifianakis’ take on the Joker.

The rest of the cast is filled out by Rosario Dawson as Batgirl/Barbara Gordon, Ralph Fiennes as Alfred Pennyworth and Mariah Carey as the Mayor of Gotham. The LEGO Batman Movie is set to arrive in theaters February 10, 2017. Check out the new trailer below.

Here’s the official synopsis for The LEGO Batman Movie:

In the irreverent spirit of fun that made “The LEGO® Movie” a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – LEGO Batman – stars in his own big-screen adventure. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker’s hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.
