We’ve seen Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and now it’s on to Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. EW has our very first look at Eisenberg without his signature curly locks and charming demeanor. This time around, he’s balder and more menacing looking than we’ve ever seen him.

Here’s what director Zack Snyder had to say about Eisenberg’s rendition of the character:

“He’s not any of the Lexes that you’ve seen, that’s for sure, other than him being a captain of industry and one person to the world and another person to himself. And bald, of course.”

Snyder also added the following:

“Our Lex is disarming and he’s not fake. He says what he believes and he says what’s on his mind. If you can unravel the string and decipher what he means, it’s all there.”

It’s also well worth highlighting the credit on this photo - Clay Enos. He's been working with Snyder since he shot Watchmen back in 2007/2008 and has delivered some especially stunning photography of Snyder’s key characters. If Enos plans on taking a similar approach to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, we should be getting one heck of a coffee table book closer to the film’s release.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens on March 25, 2016 and also stars Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Holly Hunter, Scoot McNairy and Jeremy Irons.
