Fall TV is well underway and there's already too many exceptional new series, and that's not even counting returning shows. Fleabag, Queen Sugar, Better Things, Atlanta, and One Mississippi are all worthy of rabid fanbases, and we haven't even pushed past September as of yet. In fact, what will likely garner the most attention doesn't arrive until the very end of September, that being Netflix's latest Marvel adaptation, Luke Cage.

Having seen the first half or so of the series, I'll simply say that you should most definitely believe the hype, but you can get another taste of what to expect via the new clip from the series that you can take a look at below. Here, Cage (Mike Colter) does what you likely expect Luke Cage to do: decimates a small gaggle of criminals trying to shakedown a small Harlem restaurant. There's stopped bullets, broken wrists, and all that good stuff we've come to expect from the Netflix-Marvel output. And that's not even half of what makes the show so good, as everyone will find out when the series premieres on September 30th.

Here's the new clip from Luke Cage:

Here's the official synopsis for Luke Cage:

After a sabotaged experiment leaves him with super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage (Mike Colter) becomes a fugitive trying to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City. But he is soon pulled out of the shadows and must fight a battle for the heart of his city – forcing him to confront a past he had tried to bury.

Mike Colter plays the charismatic lead character, Luke Cage and is joined by Mahershala Ali (Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes), Alfre Woodard (Mariah Dillard), Simone Missick (Misty Knight), Theo Rossi (Shades), Frank Whaley (Rafael Scarfe) and Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple).

Marvel's Luke Cage is Executive Produced by series Showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker (SouthLAnd, Ray Donovan) and Jeph Loeb (Marvel's Daredevil, Marvel's Jessica Jones), who also serves as Marvel's Head of Television.
