Dracula Untold, now available on Blu-ray and DVD, merges fact with fantasy and offers a new spin on the origin story for Bram Stoker's classic monster. Luke Evans stars as Vlad Tepes, ruler of the kingdom of Wallachia - when the Turkish sultan Mehmed (Dominic Cooper) demands that Vlad hand over 1,000 Transylvanian boys to be raised as Turkish soldiers, including his own son, Vlad seeks the help of the supernatural to defeat the superior Turkish army. Directed by Gary Shore, Dracula Untold also stars Sarah Gadon, Charles Dance, and Art Parkinson.

I recently had the opportunity sit down with Luke Evans for an exclusive video interview in Bucharest, Romania. He talked about what attracts him to literary characters, delving into the history of Vlad the Impaler, what might be in store for Dracula in the Universal Monsters shared universe, working with Ben Wheatley on High-Rise, re-teaming for Free Fire, and more. Below the video is the time index.
