A new Mad Max: Fury Road international trailer has landed online. The follow-up/reboot finds George Miller returning to the director’s chair and staging an entire movie built around one chase scene. As you can see from this trailer and the ones before it, the movie looks totally bonkers in the best way possible. Hopefully the story in between is strong enough to carry the lunacy on display.

Additionally, the MPAA has decided that the film is crazy enough for an R-rating because it features “intense sequences of violence throughout, and for disturbing images." While its R-rating may make the film seem like an outlier in the summer blockbuster season, it could work in the movie’s favor as a bit of aggressive counterprogramming.

Here’s the official synopsis for Mad Max: Fury Road:

Haunted by his turbulent past, Mad Max believes the best way to survive is to wander alone.  Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa.  They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe, from whom something irreplaceable has been taken.  Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows.
