The last season of WGN's Manhattan left-off on a bit of a cliffhanger, with Frank (John Benjamin Hickey) in a sticky bit of trouble that could have proven fatal. Well, now we're getting just a taste of what's in store for Manhattan Season 2 in the first trailer for the season, and things are looking dire. Not only do we get glimpses of Neve Campbell, Daniel London, Olivia Williams, and Richard Schiff, but we get our first full look at William Petersen, who is the new man in charge of the atomic agenda in Los Alamos. He looks to be an imposing force against the moralistic Frank, but we'll have to wait until the series premieres on Tuesday, October 13th to really get a firm grip at what's going on in Los Alamos.

Following an unforgettable first season, the trailer hints at the questionable motivations, duplicitous nature and high stakes secrets held by the series' main characters inside the world's most guarded city.
The trailer offers clues into what may have happened to Frank Winter (John Benjamin Hickey) after his mortal fate was left uncertain, and also includes the first footage of William Petersen as Col. Emmett Darrow, the enigmatic new ranking military officer at Los Alamos who feels called by God to usher in the atomic future and to spread American values across the globe.
