While the Fox Searchlight Pictures' production of the A.A. Milne biopic still lacks a title, the big-screen picture that tells the story of the life of the Winnie-the-Pooh author is now officially underway. Domhnall Gleeson stars as the author who brought the honey-loving bear to life back in 1926 thanks to inspiration from his son Christopher Robin and the boy's stuffed animals. Margot Robbie also stars as Milne's wife Dorothy "Daphne" de Sélincourt, with Will Tilston starring as Christopher Robin.

Directed by Simon Curtis (My Week with MarilynWoman in Gold) from a script written by Frank Cottrell Boyce based on a screenplay by Simon Vaughan (A Bear Named Winnie), the film is now shooting on location in Oxfordshire, Surrey, East Sussex and London. The film also stars Kelly Macdonald, Stephen Campbell Moore, Alex Lawther, Richard McCabe, Nico Mirallegro, Geraldine Somerville and Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

Here's what producer Damian Jones had to say about the project:

“I'm thrilled to finally see this fascinating story be realized with such an array of fresh and exciting talent in front of and behind the camera as well as continuing my ongoing collaboration with Fox Searchlight."

Followed up by fellow producer Steve Christian:

"It's such a joy to be able to share the long held passion that I've felt for this story and to see it all come together with a team that I could never have dreamt possible."

Here's the current synopsis for the as-of-yet untitled film:

The UNTITLED A.A. MILNE film gives a rare glimpse into the relationship between beloved children's author A. A. Milne (Gleeson) and his son Christopher Robin, whose toys inspired the magical world of Winnie the Pooh.  Along with his mother Daphne (Robbie), and his nanny Olive (Kelly Macdonald), Christopher Robin and his family are swept up in the international success of the books; the enchanting tales bringing hope and comfort to England after the First World War.   But with the eyes of the world on Christopher Robin, what will the cost be to the family?
