With the craziest election season in recent memory, Saturday Night Live is going to be must-see television from now through Election Day. The hosts are almost secondary at this point because we just want to see the political commentary, but when it comes to hosts, season 42 will at least kick off with an interesting choice: Margot Robbie.

NBC has announced that Robbie will host the season premiere with musical guest The Weeknd. This will be Robbie’s first time hosting Saturday Night Live, and it will be interesting to see what kind of sketches they do with her. I expect there will be at least one that’s Suicide Squad-related since it’s her biggest hit and it’s one of the biggest hit movies of the year. While some of Robbie’s movies have had comic elements, none have really put her comic chops to the test, and I’m eager to see her tackle some sketches.

Check out the full press release below. The 42nd season of SNL premieres on October 1st with new Mikey Day, Alex Moffat, and Melissa Villaseñor, who will be taking the place of Taran Killam, Jay Pharoah, and Jon Rudnitsky.
