With Mark Hamill’s Pop Culture Quest about to premiere on Comic-Con HQ, we’re happy to premiere the first trailer for the upcoming show. If you didn’t know, like many of us Hamill is a full-fledged geek and has been collecting comic books, original artwork, toys and other mementos since the early 1970s.

“I’ve been a collector all my life,” said Hamill. “This show is a natural outgrowth of that passion. Now I have an opportunity to collect other people's collections! I can't wait to see what's out there and share it with the world. Collectibles are a living history of who and what we are, so we just might learn something…but there's no doubt we're going to have fun!”

The series, which premieres November 15th, begins at DC Comics headquarters with Jim Lee. Through the season Hamill will look at comic book memorabilia, film props, Godzilla, pinball machines and beyond with special guests including monster amasser Scott Zilllner and famous collector Bob Burns.

I’ve heard Hamill has a serious toy collection with tons of amazing things still in their original packaging. I’m hopeful his new show might one day showcase his stuff and not just other people’s collections. As a former toy addict, I love checking out other people’s collections and can’t wait to see what the show uncovers.
