When last audiences saw The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel at the end of Season 3, Miriam "Midge" Maisel (Rachel Brosnahan) seemed to be at an all-time low, having been fired off an international tour and is now at risk of losing the new apartment she just bought using her tour contract as collateral. Now, with the first images of Season 4 being released by Prime Video, we have some idea of where the story is going next.

In the first image, we see Midge, looking very depressed in a dressing room, laying down on a pile of colorful costumes. It seems, that any hope fans might have had that Midge would quickly bounce back from the low of Season 3’s finale were unfortunately misplaced.

The second image shows Midge’s parents, played by Emmy winner Tony Shalhoub (Monk) and Emmy nominated Marin Hinkle (Two and a Half Men), eating a meal off of TV trays. Not much context for this image is given but it does seem that the pair are, just like their daughter, facing financial issues, a storyline that was started in Season 3.
