When a movie gets ready to film, casting breakdowns are sent out to various agencies to see if any of their actors are suited for a role. This happens on every movie, and most of the time, no one reports anything because who really cares what actor is serving Jennifer Aniston her coffee in her latest romantic comedy. But when you land some of the casting breakdowns for the next Marvel movie, you're going to get some coverage. Anyway, the studio is obviously looking for a ton of people to fill many roles in "Thor", but for now, you can read the description for a college student named Marcy Lewis and who they're looking for to play Warriors.

And for people not caught up... Kenneth Branagh is directing "Thor" for Marvel next year. The film is getting released May 20, 2011 and it stars Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Natalie Portman (Jane Foster). Here's the synopsis that Marvel released:

Marvel Studios expands its film universe with a new type of superhero: THOR. This epic adventure spans the Marvel Universe; from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard.
