The Gladers are out of the Maze, but in Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, they're going into another treacherous landscape called the Scorch. Prior to the events of the first film, the region between the two Tropics was charred by sun flares. Making matters even worse, after those sun flares, a virus called the Flare started to spread amongst the survivors, eating away at victims' brains and turning them into bloodthirsty maniacs.

Want to know what to do if you catch the Flare? 20th Century Fox just unveiled a clever animated public service announcement that reveals what the virus does to your body and assures you that WCKD can help you get back on your feet. I was hoping the video would take a Ren & Stimpy turn and reveal the gory details of becoming a Crank, but of course, this is a message from WCKD and they don't want to alarm the public.

Check out what happens if you catch the Flare in the new Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials video below. The film opens in theaters on September 18th and stars Dylan O’BrienThomas Brodie-SangsterKaya ScodelarioGiancarlo EspositoKi Hong LeeRosa Salazar and Jacob Lofland.
