There's been a rumor floating around the interwebs about Jason Schwartzman playing Ramona Flowers' final Evil Ex-Boyfriend, Gideon Gordon Graves, ever since Variety accidentally said that Schwartzman would be in the movie. Even if we did link to Variety, I couldn't because it was a throwaway line that they quickly deleted so I'll link to The Playlist who picked up on this line and the potential casting of Schwartzman as Gideon.
Well today Edgar Wright decided to fuck with us a bit more by posting the following picture on his daily photo blog. I'm pretty sure that behind all that paper is Jason Schwartzman. Now maybe he's playing Wallace's boyfriend, Mobile. Maybe he's playing Scott's brother Lawrence West. But I'm pretty sure that we're going to see Mr. Schwartzman playing the organizer of Ramona's League of Evil-Ex Boyfriends and that this is our first look at Mr. Graves.
Some have speculated that this may be Brandon Routh as Ramona's Third Evil-Ex Boyfriend, Todd Ingram. But why hide that? The whole question mark ties into the fact that we've never officially seen Gideon in the comics yet.
