We still don't know much about Christopher Nolan's upcoming film "Inception", but we do know this: everyone involved is not aloud to talk about it.  When Steve asked her about during the press tour for "Whip It", cast member Ellen Page said that the best way to enjoy the film was to go in knowing as little possible.  Hopefully the marketing folks got that memo because the actors certainly did.  Michael Caine recently broke the vow of silence and revealed who he plays in the film.  Hit the jump to read what he said before Nolan shuts down our site and makes it look like Collider never existed.

Speaking with Empire, Caine had this briefly (and I mean briefly) described his part in "Inception":

"I play a professor who's teaching a guy science," Sir Michael told of us of his fourth Nolan collaboration. "It's Leonardo diCaprio. He's going off to do a science project and he speaks to me before he goes."

I love that when it comes to "Inception", reporting a cameo is major news.  But Christopher Nolan and Warner Bros. should learn the lesson of James Cameron's "Avatar": there comes a point where hype caves in on itself and no revelation can possibly live up to what people have imagined.  There's still a long way to go until July 16, 2010 when the film hits theaters but hopefully Nolan and Warners have a plan to sell the film without giving it all away.
