Has it been awhile since a movie really made you laugh? Do you live in the Los Angeles area? If you answered yes to these two questions, you’re about to be very happy.
Thanks to Fox, we’re going to be showing director Jake Szymanski’s upcoming comedy Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates in Century City this Tuesday night. As you may have pieced together, the film takes place at a festive wedding, and stars Zac Efron, Adam Devine, Anna Kendrick and Aubrey Plaza. You can watch the red-band trailer here.
If you’d like to attend, the screening will be on June 28th at 7pm at the AMC Century City. As a bonus treat after the screening, I’ll be moderating a Q&A with Szymanski, who got quite a lot of recognition for his HBO film 7 Days in Hell.
If you’re wondering how you can get in, we’ve got you covered. To see this Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates screening, click this link to enter for tickets. We’ll email the people who have won tickets early Monday afternoon.
Finally, one last thing: Please only ask for tickets if you live can attend the screening. We have a limited supply of tickets and I want to make sure everyone who enters can really go.
Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates opens in theaters on July 8th. A huge thank you to Fox for letting us show the film before release.
Here’s the official synopsis for Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates:
Hard-partying brothers Mike (Adam Devine) and Dave (Zac Efron) place an online ad to find the perfect dates (Anna Kendrick, Aubrey Plaza) for their sister’s Hawaiian wedding. Hoping for a wild getaway, the boys instead find themselves outsmarted and out-partied by the uncontrollable duo.
