The Licensing International Expo promises to be an excellent source for information on upcoming studio tentpoles when it takes place in Las Vegas June 8-10.  But thanks to Collider reader Max, we have access to some advance material that we just have to share.  This is the first of several posts that will reveal logos, synopses, and posters for upcoming films of interest.

Up first are early logos from the Paramount lot, including  the first for Mission: Impossible 4 and The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn, plus early looks at the logos for the animated  feature Rango and the Footloose remake.  You can find more information on each project after the jump.

Tom Cruise will return to the spy franchise with a cool theme song yet again, with Josh Applebaum and Andre Nemec penning the script.  Ratatouille director Brad Bird will make the leap to live-action features for M:I IV from an original idea by Cruise and producer J.J. Abrams.  Mission: Impossible IV hits theaters on December 16, 2011.

Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson united to adapt Belgian comic-strip hero Tintin for a motion-capture trilogy.  Jamie Bell stars as the titular character with a supporting cast of Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Andy Serkis, and Daniel Craig.  The Spielberg-directed first entry, The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn, is slated for a 3D release on December 23, 2011.

The Footloose logo appears to be in the same font as used on the poster of the 1987 original,  and we’ve seen a teaser poster for the Johnny Depp-voiced Rango elsewhere, but it’s still an interesting early glimpse into the marketing process.
