Paramount has released three new Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation images. In the latest installment of the action franchise, the IMF attempts to take down “The Syndicate”, a worldwide criminal organization described as an “anti-IMF”. Although I’m a little bummed that the team has lost Paula Patton because she was unavailable, it looks like they have a good replacement with newcomer Rebecca Ferguson. As you can see from these hi-res images, Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) has once again found himself in trouble, and it looks like her character has come to bail him out.

Check out the new Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation images below. The film opens in IMAX and traditional theaters on July 31st, and also stars Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Jeremy Renner, Sean Harris, Simon McBurney, and Alec Baldwin.

Here’s the synopsis for Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation:

The new flick finds Hunt’s highly effective but destructive Impossible Mission Force (IMF) disbanded by vengeful Washington bureaucrats such as the CIA chief (played by Alec Baldwin). But Hunt pulls his team together (Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames and newcomer Rebecca Ferguson) to battle the shadowy force known as “The Syndicate” and its elusive leader (Sean Harris).
