Lionsgate has released the first official clip for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay -- Part 2, and it sets the stage for the action of the epic series conclusion. Following the low-key Mockingjay -- Part 1, Part 2 sees Katniss and her fellow victors headed into the heart of the Capitol for one last grand show down with the nefarious despot President Snow.

Director Francis Lawrence brings the franchise to a close when The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2 arrives in theaters on November 20th, starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Julianne Moore, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Sam Claflin,Jena Malone, and Donald Sutherland. This is a pretty solid clip to release ahead of the film. I'm sure there will be more spoiler-heavy releases as the promotional campaign ramps up in the coming month, but for now, this is a great way to tease the action of the film without giving it all away. With the stakes firmly established (and the eternally awesome Michelle Forbes looking characteristically badass as Lt. Jackson), Mockingjay -- Part 2 promises to be an action-packed epic to finally resolve the story of the girl on fire.

With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss confronts President Snow (Donald Sutherland) in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends – including Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Finnick (Sam Claflin), and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) – Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her.  The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games.
