If you've seen a lot of the social media marketing for 20th Century Fox's upcoming sci-fi thriller Morgan but haven't clicked through to find out more, today's the day to change that. Directed by Luke Scott, son of Ridley Scott and director in his own right, Morgan stars Anya Taylor-Joy (The Witch) in the title role as an artificial being created in a lab. As you might expect, things eventually go horribly wrong.

New clips released for the upcoming film reveal the creation of the title character and the events of escalating violence that lead to the main crux of the film: Now that Morgan appears to pose a threat, what's to be done with her? That's where corporate risk-management consultant Lee Weathers (Kara Mara) comes in, as she's tasked with making the decision of whether or not to terminate the world's most advanced artificial being. It's certainly an intriguing idea, one that will hopefully play out with some interesting twists and turns along the way.

Also starring Rose Leslie, Boyd Holbrook, Michelle Yeoh, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Paul GiamattiMorgan opens in theaters starting September 2nd.
