Remember Motorcade? It's been a while! But a good resurrection story is always nice to hear and this one has some serious potential attached. Joe Carnahan will write and direct the film for Dreamworks, per Variety. This could be a great fit, and it certainly seems like Carnahan is the right director for this type of material. The Grey was one of my very favorite movies of 2011 and if he can bring that intensity here, Motorcade should be in good shape. Incidentally, this will be his second feature in a row to center around a limousine provided it's the next one to hit screens after Stretch.

The story revolves around terrorists attacking the President’s motorcade as it navigates through Los Angeles. Carnahan also taking a crack at the script, with previous drafts being written by Billy Ray. There's no word on who will star, though Tom Cruise and Ryan Reynolds have been attached at different points in time.
