An update to last week’s story on Marvel and Disney boycotting the state of Georgia if the controversial religious liberty bill dubbed by critics as “anti-gay” was signed into law: In a report from Variety, Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal will veto the bill after mounting pressure from major corporations and media companies condemned the measure. Governor Deal released a statement saying that Georgia is a welcoming state, full of loving, kind and generous people. He announced his veto to the press earlier this morning.

Kingsman 2 is inching closer and closer to production and now we have some concept art and a new title, this according to writer/director Matthew Vaughn. In an interview with Empire Magazine, Vaughn revealed the new title to be Kingsman: The Golden Circle. The Empire article also included four pieces of concept art, which includes a first look at the Kingsman cab that can dive deep underwater like a submarine; a bombed-out Kingsman headquarters, The Statesman headquarters and the lair of the villain, Poppy, played by Julianne Moore. Kingsman: The Golden Circle is slated for release on June 10th, 2017.

WonderCon 2016 happened this past weekend and the whole Collider Movie Talk Crew was there to celebrate. Along with a number of comic book panels and a host of Cosplayers looking to be straight from the movies, the sister con to Comic-Con also offered previews and footage from upcoming movies like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, The Conjuring 2 and Lights Out, with personal interviews with Fast 7 and The Conjuring director James Wan. The weekend was capped off with a Collider Heroes panel followed by a meet and greet with fans and members of the Collider Movie Talk team.

Over the weekend at WonderCon, Warner Bros. and director James Wan released the newest trailer for The Conjuring 2. In the trailer, Ed and Lorraine Warren played by Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson are now being hunted by an angry spirit that’s been channeling itself through a young English child. After Warner Bros. and New Line debuted the Conjuring 2 trailer, they turned to another horror movie with the debut look at Lights Out, the first movie from director David Sandberg based on the viral short film he created by the same name. James Wan produces from his Atomic Monster Productions. Lights Out is the tale of an unknown terror that lurks in the dark. As a young girl growing up, Rebecca, played by Teresa Palmer, was never really sure of what was real when the lights went out at night. Now, her little brother Martin, played by Gabriel Bateman, is experiencing the same unexplained and terrifying events that jeopardized her safety and sanity. Holding a mysterious attachment to their mother, played by Maria Bello, the supernatural entity has returned with a vengeance to torment the entire family. Lights Out opens in theatres July 22nd.

Paramount Pictures has released a new trailer for the sequel Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. Directed by Earth to Echo filmmaker Dave Green, the sequel sees the turtles facing off against a number of familiar faces from the comics and cartoons including a small peek at Krang with more action shots of Bebop and Rocksteady. The spot also shows Arrow star Stephen Amell as the hockey stick-wielding Casey Jones. The film also stars Megan Fox, Will Arnett, and Laura Linney and lands in theatres on June 3rd.

Warner Bros. released a second teaser trailer for The LEGO Batman Movie directed by Chris McKay. The new teaser directly addresses seeing Thomas and Martha Wayne murdered again and again and again in every Batman movie released in the years past, also referencing this weekend’s latest, Batman v Superman. The animated spin-off will feature the voices of Will Arnett, Michael Cera, Rosario Dawson, Zach Galifianakis, Ralph Fiennes, and Mariah Carey. The LEGO Batman Movie opens in theaters on February 10th, 2017.

Hi all,

When do you think we’ll get a first glimpse at Dr Strange? Do you think it would be a post credit scene in Civil War? Maybe a teaser trailer before then? Thanks.

Brynjar Reynisson writes

Hey Collider. I am a recent fan but really like your stuff. My question is has there been any news of a new James Bond movie and if Daniel Craig will return? Also if Craig isn’t returning, who should play Bond?
