One of the key mysteries of Mr. Robot Season 1 is what the hell happened to Tyrell Wellick (Martin Wallström). Theories abound, from Elliot (Rami Malek) killing him to Tyrell being another personality of Elliot's, but a new video teaser for the series seem to confirm that he is at least a real person. It's certainly a stroke of brilliance to blame the E Corps hacks on Wellick, and to say that his disappearance is because he's in hiding -- two birds with one stone and all of that -- but it also seems so suggest that he may actually be dead.

It's not that the Swedish version of American Psycho was someone we would root for, but he did act as a fascinating foil for Elliot, and his actual hacker skills cannot be denied (I also bestowed him as TV Performer of the Week during Season 1). It's also interesting to note that his creepy wife (played by Stephanie Corneliussen) has been bumped up to a series regular. So, it's not the last we've seem of the Wellicks, necessarily. But like almost everything related to Mr. Robot, the more we know, the less we understand.
