Nancy Meyers hasn't directed a film since 2009's It's Complicated, and it looks like her fans will have to wait even longer to see what she'll do next.  Earlier this year, Meyers signed on to re-write and direct an untitled romantic comedy set in the U.K.  Today, Deadline is reporting that Sony will continue developing Meyers' script (originally written by (500) Days of Summer screenwriters Scott Neustadter and Michael Weber), but will now seek out a new director for what is being called "Royal Wedding" around Hollywood.  The movie is about a young American woman who starts dating "a very unlikely young man" (I have no idea how one is an unlikely young man unless there's a sex change operation involved), and their lives become unexpectedly complicated as a result.  The entire cast would be British except for the lead role.

Meyers is also attached to direct the comedy The Intern starring Tina Fey, and the dramedy The Chelsea starring Felicity Jones, but we haven't heard anything new on those projects for well over a year.
