Natalie Portman took a much-deserved break after winning the Best Actress Oscar for Black Swan and giving birth to her child, but now that she’s wading back into the feature film waters she’s being courted for just about everything.  We recently reported that Portman was being eyed to play Jackie Kennedy in the real-life drama Jackie, and now The Wrap reports that Portman is also mulling over two other projects: the gun-running thriller Code Name Sasha and the drama Last Witness.

Hit the jump for more on both projects and to check out the latest images of Portman on the set of Terrence Malick’s new untitled film set within the Austin music scene.

Per The Wrap, Paramount’s Code Name Sasha is described as a female Training Day meets La Femme Nikita and centers on a single mother with a long history of being engaged in criminal activity who is courted by the FBI to go undercover and bring down the world’s largest gun-running organization.  On the flipside, Fox’s Last Witness tells the story of a psychologist working with the sole survivor of a bombing in a Boston café who is suffering from amnesia.

Portman’s representative says that she’s yet to make a decision regarding these films, so she could end up doing one, both, or neither.  She’s already committed to appearing in Thor: The Dark World, the incredibly promising Western Jane Got a Gun (which she’s also producing), and Terrence Malick’s untitled project.

Speaking of Malick, the actress was recently spotted filming scenes for the film in Austin. Previously titled Lawless, the cast also includes Ryan Gosling and Rooney Mara.  Portman also appears in Malick’s other 2012 film, Knight of Cups, opposite Christian Bale, which he shot earlier this year.
