The debut schedule for all the movies and series that will be hitting Netflix in March have arrived, and there's quite a lot to look forward to this coming month. First and foremost, there's the impending rivalry between Jon Bernthal's The Punisher and Charlie Cox's Daredevil in the second season of Marvel's Daredevil, which has all the makings of Marvel's strongest showing overall in TV or film. There's also the premieres of the fourth season of House of Cards and the first season of the new comedy Flaked, with Will Arnett, and the streaming service will also premiere the Judd Apatow-produced Pee-wee's Big Holiday and the David Lynch-produced My Beautiful Broken Brain, a documentary about a filmmaker's journey to recover her mind.
As for movies that aren't put out by Netflix, they will also put up Ben and Joshua Safdie's Heaven Knows What, one of the most visceral, uncompromising films about drug addicts ever made; Promised Land, Gus Van Sant's fascinating Frank Capra-esque environmental drama; Finders Keepers, one of 2015's most interesting documentaries; the first two Star Trek films; and Harold Ramis' inimitable Groundhog Day. That should be plenty to keep you busy.
