Four new character posters for Guillermo del Toro’s upcoming haunted house film Crimson Peak landed today, featuring Tom Hiddleston, Mia Wasikowska, Jessica Chastain and a decidedly un-Jax-Teller-looking Charlie Hunnam all in color-coded gothic beauty. (Hiddleston appearing in Loki green makes me really happy).

Check out the posters below, as well as the theatrical and international trailers. You can also find out 35 things to know about the movie from Steve’s set visit and interview with del Toro, as well as a few revealing tidbits from interviews with Tom Hiddleston and Jessica Chastain.

Crimson Peak is set to premiere October 16th; here is the film’s official synopsis:

Legendary Pictures’ ‘Crimson Peak’, a co-production with Universal Pictures, is a haunting gothic horror story directed by the master of dark fairy tales, Guillermo del Toro (Pan’s Labyrinth, Hellboy series, Pacific Rim), written by del Toro, Matthew Robbins and Lucinda Coxon and starring Mia Wasikowska, Jessica Chastain, Tom Hiddleston and Charlie Hunnam.

In the aftermath of a family tragedy, an aspiring author is torn between love for her childhood friend and the temptation of a mysterious outsider. Trying to escape the ghosts of her past, she is swept away to a house that breathes, bleeds…and remembers.
