Just in case you needed a little more American pride to conclude your 4th of July holiday, this deleted scene from Talladega Nights is nine minutes of Will Ferrell, Chris Isaak, and John C. Reilly as Ricky’s often-ignored sidekick Cal singing about how “if you’re born in America, you’re already number 1.” The scene wasn’t on the DVD or in the theatrical version, which is a pity because it’s hilarious. Do you love this country so much it makes your eyes bleed, or because you can start a militia if you have to, or because you are like Ricky and are also aroused by Betsy Ross? Then you should probably just watch this deleted scene already.
