Disney has released a new "special look" at the upcoming live-action Dumbo movie directed by Tim Burton and based on the iconic animated film from 1941. There's a ton of new footage in there of Colin Farrell's one-armed performer and Danny DeVito doing his Danny DeVito circus thing—still very little of Eva Green's character, unfortunately—but the real main event is, of course, a toss-up between that impressive flying elephant himself and whatever it is that's going on with Michael Keaton's wig.

But no, the important thing here is that Dumbo, the actual character, looks fantastic. You can fill a movie with as much big-top Tim Burton whimsy as you like—and this looks bursting with whimsy, let me tell you—but the movie just wouldn't work if the soaring elephant at the center is an uncanny valley abomination and not an adorable CGI wonder.

But when they discover that Dumbo can fly, the circus makes an incredible comeback, attracting persuasive entrepreneur V.A.
