A little over a week ago, I wrote about the “Max Payne” trailer and mixed in my feelings towards 20th Century Fox. Then, earlier today, Matt wrote a few words as well. Since I don’t want to re-write stuff that's already been said, check out those articles.

Anyway…the first TV Spot for “Max Payne” has been released and it’s below. Based on the footage and vibe they’re selling in the trailer and this commercial, I have to say I’m really looking forward to checking out the movie. But…20th Century Fox has the best marketing department in the business. They can sell ice to Eskimos in the middle of a blizzard. So, I’m no longer going to trust any footage or trailer that opens with a Fox logo. Until the company delivers a great movie – something I want to own on DVD – I’ll no longer give them a pass. From now on, they’ll have to earn it.

And that sucks. Because I grew up with the 20th Century Fox logo meaning something. I hope they get their mojo back soon.

But…this TV spot does look good…
