A new video blog has gone online for the upcoming James Bond film, Skyfall.  Sadly, this is probably the weakest video blog yet.  While it's definitely cool that they took time to speak with trumpet player Derek Watkins, who has worked on every James Bond movie, it doesn't really go into composer Thomas Newman's score.  Perhaps they want to keep it under wraps, or maybe some piece weren't completely finished when this video blog was recorded, but it still would have been nice to get Newman's thoughts on what he plans to bring to the table, and where it will fit in the pantheon of Bond scores.

Hit the jump to check out the video blog.  Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, Javier Bardem, Helen McCrory, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Berenice Marlohe, and Naomie Harris.  Skyfall opens November 9th.
