Nicolas Cage is set to light his skull on fire once more.  Collider reader "Joseph" gave us a heads-up that on tonight's episode of The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Cage revealed he had just signed the deal to return to star in Ghost Rider 2.  The actor also confirmed that Neveldine/Taylor (Crank) will direct.  While I couldn't care less about Ghost Rider as a character, having Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor behind the camera raises my interest since I doubt they're going to serve up a pile of bland like director Mark Steven Johnson did with the first one.

In April, there was doubt as to whether or not Cage would return or if he would go to do National Treasure 3.  It looks like Cage has decided to hop back on the motorcycle and burst into flames.  Click here to read Steve's interview with producer Mike de Luca back in January about the sequel, which is tentatively titled Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance.   [Update: After the jump you can check out video of Cage talking about the movie.]

Jump to 2:20 to see the beginning of the Ghost Rider shenanigans.
