SXSW is just days away and one of the premieres I’m most excited about is the one for Charles Hood’s second feature, Night Owls. It stars Adam Pally and Rosa Salazar as Kevin and Madeline. He’s a workaholic who’s obsessed with following in the footsteps of his idol/boss and she’s a free-spirited train-wreck struggling through some relationship issues. Madeline drunkenly lures Kevin home for a one night stand, but when she ODs on a bottle of sleeping pills, their hot date becomes a long night of babysitting because it's up to Kevin to make sure she stays awake.

Night Owls is set to have its first screening at SXSW on Friday, March 13th at 9:30pm. In honor of the big debut, we got the opportunity to unveil the film’s new poster. You can check out the Night Owls poster below and be sure to keep an eye out for my review shortly after the world premiere screening wraps up. If you’ll be in Austin for the festival, you’ll also have the option to catch Night Owls on Sunday, March 15th at 5:30pm and Saturday, March 21st at 1:30pm at the Alamo Lamar.

Here’s the SXSW synopsis for Night Owls:

Workaholic Kevin (Adam Pally) goes home with the beautiful train-wreck Madeline (Rosa Salazar) for a drunken one night stand, but he's horrified to discover she's actually his boss' jilted ex-mistress. After she takes a bottle of sleeping pills, Kevin is forced to keep her awake all night. As Madeline and Kevin banter through the night, they begin to fall for each other.
