The trailer for the indie romantic comedy Night Owls has been released online. Directed by Charles Hood, the film stars Happy Endings and The Mindy Project standout Adam Pally as a workaholic who goes home with a woman (Rose Salazar) for a one-night stand, only to discover that she’s actually his boss’ jilted ex-mistress who’s in the middle of a breakdown. In her review of the film from SXSW, Perri praised the stellar performances from Pally and Salazar as well as the film’s screenplay by Hood and Seth Goldsmith, which weaves the jokes organically into the story. This trailer looks quite funny with some promising familiar faces, and as a big fan of Pally’s work, I’m looking forward to checking this one out.
