Lionsgate is putting some of their affairs in order when it comes to the next few years and have set two big release dates.  First, Now You See Me 2, the sequel to last year's surprise comedy hit (it did better than Hangover III and Pacific Rim - which it only cost a fraction of - in the states and pulled in some serious dough internationally) will come out on June 10th, 2016.  We've been tracking this one for a while, but hadn't seen any firm commitments (though director Jon M. Chu) has been rumored for some time.  Now we know that Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine will all be returning and that Ed Solomon and Pete Chiarelli will be writing the script.

While the synopsis for Now You See Me 2 is still under wraps, we know a little bit more info on the upcoming Dirty Grandpa.  Hit the jump for more.

The last we reported on Dirty Grandpa it had been retitled Driving Dick Kelly (and that was only five days ago), but now they're back to the working title of Dirty Grandpa again (although I'm sure that will change).  The film starring Zac Efron and Robert De Niro will be written by John Phillips and directed by Dan Mazer and will hit theaters on December 25th, 2015.

Here's the official synopsis:

Right before his wedding, an uptight guy is tricked into driving his foul-mouthed grandfather, a former Army general, to Florida for spring break.

If it's coming out at Christmas time, I'm guessing it's an R-rated spiritual sequel to The Guilt Trip.  Whatever works!  Efron was hilarious in Neighbors so maybe he can pull De Niro from the comic abyss that was the last Fockers movie.
