Heat Vision reports that Olivia Wilde is in negotiations to co-star with Daniel Craig in Jon Favreau's upcoming action-sci-fi-western, Cowboys & Aliens.  Wilde will play "Ella," a character who joins up with gunslinger Zeke Jackson (Craig). Craig officially signed onto the role last week after Robert Downey Jr. left the project in early January.  The film is about cowboys and indians teaming up to fight an invasion from outer space.

If she officially joins Cowboys & Aliens, Wilde will be continuing her hot streak as she'll be appearing in the long-awaited sequel Tron Legacy as well as Paul Haggis' upcoming thriller The Next Three Days co-starring Russell Crowe, Elizabeth Banks, and Liam Neeson.  This is pretty impressive when you consider she landed her breakout role on House only two years ago; however, it's not surprising when you consider that Wilde has the killer combo of both acting talent (she's a standout in the House cast) and beauty.

Written by Alex Kurtzman & Roberto Orci (Star Trek) and Damon Lindelof (Lost), Cowboys & Aliens is set to hit theaters in 2011.
