If you're one of the converted, there's likely no real reason to remind you that this Saturday brings the premiere of the third season of Orphan Black, the cult action-drama series on BBC America. The series, which enjoyed a major uptick in critical reception in its second season (which premiered last year) is the kind of show with an intricate, mysterious narrative arc that is teased out and alluded to in a number of unexpected ways in each episode. The real draw of the series, however, is Tatiana Maslany's multiple performances as a series of female clones who alternatively work together and war against one another in the hopes of figuring out the real truth of their existence and creation.

The show also sports strong supporting turns from The Strain's Kevin Hanchard and the great Maria Doyle Kennedy, who has appeared in Call the Midwife and Downton Abbey for the BBC before. If you haven't started Orphan Black yet, the cherry on top of all of this is that Amazon will be offering free streaming of the show's breakout first season tomorrow, Friday, April 17th, the day before Orphan Black Season 3 starts up. Binge watchers will likely be celebrating this, and for those who don't have the whole day to be watching ass-kicking clones find their origins, Orphan Black offers short-ish 10-episode seasons that move along at a major clip. Some might not feel the series' grim tone, but those who get hip to the series quick will likely be spending most of Saturday binging season 2 before premiere time (Season 3 premieres April 18th, at 10 p.m.)
