Last year, when Steve spoke to Brandon Routh about Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Routh said that some of the scenes would be animated. It was difficult to understand what he meant at the time, but with the first trailer now online, we can now see what he was saying.
Among the 33 high resolution screencaps we've pulled from the trailer, ten show the progression of one action beat. As you follow it, you'll see what Routh meant when he said, "animation", because it looks animated, just not in the way you think when you hear the word. Also, you'll see how a guy turned into coins when Scott struck him with his sword. Love.
