The newest Overwatch seasonal event is live! The highly addictive video game has now launched Overwatch: Retribution, which is an event that also serves as a prequel backstory for the game. From publisher and developer Blizzard Entertainment, Overwatch is a team-based multiplayer first-person shooter, but one in which there’s a heavy focus on the various characters. Players can choose from an assortment of playable characters, each with different abilities, looks, and personalities, which is where the fun of the skins comes in.

The Retribution mission allows players to delve into the past and experience a critical Blackwatch operation that ultimately led to the fall of Overwatch. The mission takes place in Venice, prior to the events of last year’s Uprising seasonal event. This mission includes McCree, Moira, Genji, and Reyes as playable characters in the Story Mode version of the mission, but there’s also an All Heroes Mode where players can choose who to bring into the fold.

Retribution also introduces a new Escort map called Rialto, which takes place in Venice. It’ll be available for testing soon on the PTR. The event also brings us over 160 cosmetic items, including great new skins for Moira, Hanzo, and more.
