While John Singleton's Four Brothers didn't smash any box office records ($74 million) or receive huge critical acclaim (52% Fresh at Rotten Tomatoes), I think it's a solid little flick so I'm happy that, according to THR, Paramount is developing a sequel called Five Brothers.  For those who don't know, the original was about four adopted brothers avenging the death of their mother. Mark Wahlberg, who came up with an idea for a new story with original writers David Elliot and Paul Lovett, will return to star with Lorenzo Di Bonaventura coming back to produce.  There's currently no word if co-stars Andre Benjamin and Tyrese Gibson will return, or if Singleton will direct.  Hopefully, the other principals from the first film will come on board, because Four Brothers is good movie, and it's always nice when smaller, underappreciated films can grab a second go round.
