Snoopy's birthday is on Monday, August 10th so in honor of the occasion, Fox Family Entertainment shared a video in which The Peanuts Movie director Steve Martino teaches you how to draw Snoopy yourself. I'm certainly not much of an artist, so I'm a big fan of these super simple "how to draw" lessons. I can't say my drawing is a masterpiece, but you can totally tell it's supposed to be Snoopy! If you opt to give this a go yourself, be sure to share your drawing on social media using the hashtag #DrawSnoopy.

Check out the "How to Draw Snoopy" video for yourself below. The Peanuts Movie is due in theaters in 3D on November 6th and will feature the voices of Noah Schnapp, Hadley Belle Miller, AJ Tecce, Noah Johnston, Venus Schultheis, Alexander Garfin, Francesca Capaldi, Mar Mar, Mariel Sheets and Rebecca Bloom.

Here is the official synopsis for The Peanuts Movie:

Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus and the rest of the beloved “Peanuts” gang make their big-screen debut, like they’ve never been seen before, in state of the art 3D animation. Snoopy, the world’s most lovable beagle – and flying ace – embarks upon his greatest mission as he takes to the skies to pursue his arch-nemesis The Red Baron, while his best pal, Charlie Brown, begins his own epic quest. From the imagination of Charles M. Schulz and the creators of the ICE AGE films, THE PEANUTS MOVIE will prove that every underdog has his day.
