The first trailer for Personal Shopper has landed online. Directed by Clouds of Sils Maria and Summer Hours filmmaker Olivier Assayas, the film stars Kristen Stewart as a high-fashion personal shopper who, after her twin brother’s death, returns to his home in Paris to look for signs from the afterlife. The film debuted at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year where it garnered a somewhat mixed reaction, with Collider correspondent Talia Soghomonian calling it something of a mixed bag in her review.

This is certainly a bit of a departure for Assayas, who last teamed up with Stewart on the critically acclaimed drama Clouds of Sils Maria. The actress continues to make fascinating career decisions, eschewing blockbuster or commercial fare for work with unique filmmakers. I’m eager to see what her latest has in store.

Check out the U.S. teaser trailer for Personal Shopper below. The film also stars Lars Eidinger and opens in theaters on March 10, 2017.
