Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson continues to insist on having a film-acting career, but his television career seems to be the hotter commodity, at least for now. Starz just released a trailer for the second season of Power, the primetime crime drama which Jackson both co-stars in and produces. The show, which stars Omari Hardwick as James "Ghost" St. Patrick, a night-club owner who leads a double life as a drug kingpin, is run by The Good Wife alum Courtney Kemp Agboh, who also executive produces the show.

According to a press release for Power Season 2:

Season two picks up right where it left off: James “Ghost” St. Patrick doubling down on his drug business to save his nightclub and dream of a legitimate future. Ghost’s work troubles pale in comparison to juggling his relationship with his wife, Tasha, and his first love, Angela, who’s also an Assistant US Attorney investigating his drug organization. Ghost is set further back from his dream by his business partner, Tommy, who loves the drug game, and his former mentor, Kanan, fresh out of jail and looking for revenge.

Per that description, and the footage in the trailer for the second season, the water would seemingly be heading north of Ghost's head throughout the 10-episode season. Meanwhile, Jackson's aforementioned film career continues on with a supporting role in Paul Feig's Spy, alongside Melissa McCarthy, Jude Law, Rose Byrne, and Jason Statham. The famed rapper will also be appearing in Antoine Fuqua's Southpaw, the highly anticipated Kurt Sutter-penned boxing drama starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Rachel McAdams, and Rita Ora.

Season 2 of Power is set to debut on June 6th, 9 p.m. on Starz.
