Thanks to a screening at the SXSW Film Festival (click here for Perri’s review of the pilot), the release of a character-heavy batch of photos, and the series’ premiere date announcement, fans have been hearing a lot about AMC’s Preacher in the past week. Dynamic duo Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are getting ready to show the world their passion project on May 22nd, and they’re whetting fans’ palettes with a behind-the-scenes featurette that takes viewers to the set.
Rogen and Goldberg, who also direct the pilot episode, narrate the featurette along with executive producers Sam Catlin and James Weaver, and actor Ricky Mabe. All tease a mixture of different genre elements — from dramatic scenes to quiet moments to comedy — while revealing some sneak peeks at upcoming scenes.
Watch the featurette below.
