The first U.K. trailer for Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is up, and it delivers exactly what the title promises. It's a shorter version of the footage that was screened at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this summer, but it's still a nice tease. The first half of the minute-long trailer should satisfy Jane Austen fans with its display of elegant costuming, high-society manners, and all-important ballroom dancing; the second half delivers the goods as those same refined ladies use their lethal skills to dispatch the undead. It's fun, it's silly, and whether you want it or not, it's coming.

Directed by Burr Steers (Igby Goes Down) and based on the parody novel by Seth Grahame-Smith, the story follows Elizabeth Bennet (Lily James) and her sisters Lydia (Ellie Bamber), Mary (Millie Brady), Jane (Bella Heathcote), and Kitty (Suki Waterhouse) as they navigate the societal pressures of 19th century England amidst the undead roaming the countryside. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is currently scheduled for a February 5, 2016 release, though the following trailer simply says, "Coming Soon." [Update: We've confirmed that this is the U.K. trailer; the domestic version should be dropping in about two weeks.]
