     March 19, 2012

In case you didn’t quite get your fill of Prometheus from two domestic trailers, three international trailers, a live chat with Michael Fassbender and Charlize Theron, an android-unboxing viral campaign video, panel coverage and an interview from WonderCon, the first TV spot for Ridley Scott’s film has gone online to put the cherry on top of this very fine Prometheus weekend. It does a swell job of selling the premise in 30 seconds, and gives us a nice look at the space jockey.

Hit the jump to check out the TV spot. The film stars Noomi Rapace, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-Green, Charlize Theron, Guy Pearce and Michael Fassbender. Prometheus opens in IMAX 3D on June 8th. [Update: It’s been brought to our attention that the TV spot is actually fanmade. In that case, kudos to whoever put this together]
