The viral campaign for Prometheus continues to be absolutely spectacular, as a new video has surfaced online featuring Noomi Rapace’s character sending a video message to one Mr. Peter Weyland (played by Guy Pearce).  She expresses that she knows where answers can be found to some of life’s biggest questions, and she pleads for Weyland to fund an expedition.  All of this is augmented by a trippy computer program and some seriously eerie musical undertones.  The viral campaign kicked off with a wonderfully chilling TED talk by Pearce, followed by a fantastic video featuring Michael Fassbender’s character.  Scribe Damon Lindelof recently talked about how the idea of these viral videos came about and how they hint at the film’s relationship to Alien.Hit the jump to watch the video.  Director Ridley Scott’s Prometheus is set to open on June 8th in 3D.Here are links to our recent coverage of Prometheus:
