Warner Bros. has acquired the graphic novel, Rascal Raccoon's Raging Revenge, for Todd Strauss-Schulson to direct.  The property, by Brendan Hay and Justin Wagner, pokes fun at Warner Bros.' classic cartoon comedies, specifically the eternal and futile pursuit of animated predator and prey.  If Strauss-Schulson's name doesn't ring a bell, perhaps you should go watch A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas again.  A highlight of that film was a trippy clay-mation sequence which showed that Strauss-Schulson could handle the medium.  An animated tale with a bit of a comedic edge seems tailor made for the director.  I'm less enthused at the choice of Matt Fogel (Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son) to adapt, but perhaps the original creators will stay involved.  Hit the jump for more on Rascal Raccoon.
