24 years ago--oh User, I'm old...--Saturday-morning cartoon fans everywhere were introduced to the first, fully CG-animated series: ReBoot. Hailing from Mainframe Entertainment, now Rainmaker Studios, the series centered on the sprites living in a user's computer system who have to not only participate in games booted up by the user, but also keep the computer running smoothly and defend it from attacks by viruses. Dot Matrix and her younger brother Enzo are assisted in these tasks by the Guardian Bob, though many, many characters come and go over the course of the series, even upgrading themselves as the story and technology evolves.

If you've never had the pleasure of watching this series from beginning to end, I have phenomenal news for you: Shout! Factory TV is partnering with content-streaming platform Twitch to air a 24-hour marathon of the entire original series, along with bonus content. The marathon kicks off at 3pm PT on Wednesday, March 28th and will feature all 47 episodes.
