Universal has released the first Ride Along 2 trailer which features Kevin Hart and Ice Cube back in action as the brothers-in-law. This time around, Ben Barber (Hart) is gearing up for his wedding with Angela (Tika Sumpter) but the illegal operations of a drug kingpin get in the way. The case takes Barber and his soon-to-be brother-in-law James Peyton (Cube) down the road to Miami where they meet up with the local PD and attempt to shut down the drug ring.

If you were a fan of the comedy, action, and buddy-cop relationship from Tim Story's first installment, then you should love what you're seeing in this first trailer. The comedic timing is tightened up considerably, the back and forth dialogue between Hart and Cube flows more easily, and the expanded cast allows plenty more opportunities for Hart's slapstick antics to play out. And if the fun little Fast and Furious scene and cameo doesn't bring a smile to your face, then I don't know what to tell you.

Ride Along 2 opens January 15, 2016, and also stars  Ken Jeong, Benjamin Bratt, Olivia Munn, Bruce McGill, and Sherri Shepherd. Check out the trailer below:
