A new Rio 2 trailer for director Carlos Saldanha's animated adventure comedy featuring the voices of Anne Hathaway, Jesse Eisenberg, and Andy Garcia

A new trailer is now available for director Carlos Saldanha's animated adventure film, Rio 2. The sequel finds Blu (Jesse Eisenberg), Jewel (Anne Hathaway), and their three kids leaving a domesticated life in the city for a journey into the Amazon, where they come across a variety of wacky characters.

Also featuring the voices of will.i.am, Andy Garcia, Jemaine Clement, Tracy Morgan, George Lopez, Leslie Mann, Rodrigo Santoro, Jamie Foxx, Rita Moreno, Bruno Mars, and Kristin Chenoweth, Rio 2 opens in 3D on April 11, 2014. Hit the jump to watch the new trailer.

Synopsis:

The entire cast of the animated smash RIO returns in RIO 2, and they are joined by a new flock of top actors and musical talents. Rich with grandeur, character, color and music, RIO 2 finds Jewel (Anne Hathaway), Blu (Jesse Eisenberg) and their three kids leaving their domesticated life in that magical city for a journey to the Amazon. They encounter a menagerie of characters who are born to be wild, voiced by Oscar nominee Andy Garcia, Oscar/Emmy/Tony-winner Rita Moreno, Grammy winner Bruno Mars, and Tony winner Kristin Chenoweth.
